This 9 day course is delivered as an intensive, immersive program designed to reflect the realities of modern close protection operations.
Participants are progressively developed from foundational knowledge through to advanced, scenario-based execution. The program begins with course orientation, expectations, and core principles, before moving into essential areas such as medical capability, threat awareness, and fundamental close protection skills.
Training quickly transitions into practical application, including protective formations, motorcade operations, and principal handling in controlled but realistic environments. As the course advances, scenarios become increasingly dynamic, placing emphasis on decision-making under pressure, team coordination, and adaptability.
The final phase of the course focuses on operational planning, advance and reconnaissance tasks, culminating in a full mission profile assessment. Here, participants plan, brief, and execute a complete close protection operation as part of a coordinated team.
Throughout the program, continuous assessment, coaching, and structured debriefs reinforce learning and ensure each participant develops the confidence and capability to operate effectively in real-world environments.

This is not an attendance course. Standards must be met to pass the course and payment does not guarantee a pass. Assessment is conducted continuously throughout the course, with a strong focus on practical performance, decision-making, and the application of learned skills in realistic scenarios.
Participants receive ongoing feedback and coaching from instructors, ensuring development throughout the program rather than reliance on a single end-point assessment. This approach supports skill retention, adaptability, and operational confidence.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive the following qualifications and certifications, subject to meeting all course requirements and assessment standards:
